Full disclosure: This baby tank dress is actually a toddler tank 🙂 I bought it big because they only had a size 2 in stock at the time. Now I have a baby tank dress for this year and a cool toddler tank for next year! MULTIPURPOSE! Maybe I should start looking at more items this way? It would save my husband a lot of money.

This little noodle wearing her baby tank dress will be 15 months here in just a couple weeks. It’s crazy how you can’t blink because the time will pass so fast before your eyes. This age is by far my favorite. Yeah, I am THAT Mom, I said what you have all been thinking.
I didn’t like 2-6 months. I hated it honestly. I love/loved my baby but gosh it was so hard!! The lack of sleep, feeding, diaper changing, 34 naps a day, the endless supplies you need to just grab dinner and then the whole other level of necessities when you travel. But let me put my smiling face on and act like it was a breeze…NOT. I recently had a conversation with some friends and we all agreed that you don’t feel “yourself” for a year+ after birth, depending on when you get your boobs back.. or what is left of them.
You can’t love every stage but we all may love/hate different ones. Our current stage: she has a little personality, BIG opinions that will only grow bigger, and can get around all by herself including up and down the couch.. all day long! It’s amazing how a child can do something over and over and over and still love it. Can you imagine an adult getting up and down a couch for 30 minutes straight? Well, maybe if that adult had been drinking… 🙂
So now we are to another stage, she’s off to Mother’s Day Out, all grown up. Or at least it feels that way to this Mommy 😉 I know that every little “first” will be exciting and saddening at the same time. As mothers we want them to go and live just like us but it sure is hard letting them go, whatever stage they’re in.
How can you even describe the wishes and love you pray over these little blessings and all their new beginnings? Cheers to the Mommy that starts Kindergarten this year. Cheers to the Mommy that decided to keep that little one home one more year. Cheers to the Mommy that just dropped off her little off-spring at Acting School.
Prayers and many blessings for all of our precious little and big students.
